SYDNEY SWIMMING 2026

PRIMARY CONFERENCE SWIMMING CARINVALS
- Medals and progression notes will be awarded to overall fastest 3 placegetters in each event at the Conference Swimming Championships.
- Students who do not swim the qualifying time at their conference championships in the 100m Freestyle and/or 200m Individual Medley will NOT progress to the Sydney Carnival (even if they win a medal).
- Final approval for all student progression/s to the Sydney Championships rests with the Convenor.
- Following the evaluation of all special considerations and circumstances, Teachers in Charge of Sport will be notified of the two (2) additional places per event progressing to the Sydney Championships. Students and Schools will be notified if they have progressed within 7 days of the carnival concluding.
- Refer to the included event order.
- The convenor reserves the right to change the order of events without prior notice.
- The convenor may also combine events when and where necessary without prior notice.
- Parents/carer/guardians must not take photos/video footage of children other than their own at the event without prior consent from the other involved students and their parents/ carers/ guardians.
- Students and parents/carers/guardians must not post/share any photos/video footage of other students on the internet or elsewhere without the prior written consent from the other involved students and their parents/carers/guardians.
- Students and parents/carer/guardians must not post/share competition results on the internet or elsewhere without the prior written consent of SCS Sport to do so.
- Spectators, parents/carers/guardians and coaches are to remain in the spectator area and are not permitted within the competition boundary (including the pool deck), which will be made clear on the day of the Event.
- Spectators, parents/carers/guardians and coaches within the competition boundary (including the pool deck) jeopardise their child’s chances of being selected to attend the next level of representation.
- No pets are permitted at any of these Event

- Spectator entry cost is $3.00 (approximately) and entry is via the main entrance.
- Student entry is via gate 4 on Forest Road.

SECONDARY CONFERENCE SWIMMING CARINVALS
- 2 swimmers from each event (4 swimmers for 50m Freestyle) will be selected to represent thier school at the Sydney Swimming Championships to be held on Monday 23rd March 2026 at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre.
- Progressions into this event will be posted below following the Carnival.
