Sydney Catholic Schools provides an opportunity for students to participate in a holiday camp.

 It will kickstart or further an individual’s love of volleyball and will provide further opportunities in the sport.

Volleyball is a highly inclusive, dynamic, non-contact sport that requires minimal equipment. It can be played on grass, an oval, the beach or indoors. Volleyball is about getting the ball over the net in three hits or fewer and winning the rally.

Volleyball is a lifetime sport. It is an active sport which enables you to improve your reactive time, play offensive and defensive as well as playing anywhere and with anyone. There are many different variations of Volleyball

There are two formats of Volleyball played at the Olympic games namely Indoor Volleyball and Beach Volleyball

Most volleyball players jump about 300 times a match. Volleyball took some of its characteristics from tennis and handball. Volleyball is the second most popular sport in the world today, exceeded only by soccer.

Sydney Catholic Schools in partnership with StarsTV are providing an opportunity for students to participate in a Volleyball camp. The aim of the camps is to kickstart or further an individual’s love of volleyball and will provide further opportunities in the sport.

Over the course of the camp participants will learn to play Volleyball with ball equipment and team tactics

Ability and experience level – The Volleyball Camp is open to students enrolled in Sydney Catholic School or an affiliated congregational school to the SCS Sport program.

Equipment – All equipment is provided.
