Sydney Catholic Schools provides an opportunity for students to participate in a holiday camp.
It will kickstart or further an individual’s love of water polo and will provide further opportunities in the sport.
What is Water Polo
Water polo is a competitive team sport played in water between two teams of seven players each. Teams attempt to score goals by throwing the ball into the opposing team’s goal. A game consists mainly of the players swimming to move about the pool, treading water (mainly using the eggbeater kick), passing the ball, and shooting at the goal.
Why Water Polo
Playing water polo provides numerous benefits for individuals of all ages, including improved physical health, mental wellness, and social skills. This physically demanding sport requires a combination of strength, endurance, speed, and agility, making it an excellent option for individuals looking to stay active and healthy

Term 4 – December Holiday Camp
Sydney Catholic Schools in partnership with Cronulla Water Polo Association are providing an opportunity for students to participate in a Water Polo camp. The aim of the camps is to kickstart or further an individual’s love of Water Polo.
Requirements
Camp participants must be able to swim 25m unadied and with confidence

Venue – Sutherland Leisure Centre
Age criteria – Students from grades 5 – 11
Cost – $80
Ability and experience level – The Water Polo Camp is open to students enrolled in Sydney Catholic School or an affiliated congregational school to the SCS Sport program. It is a requirement that camp participants can swim a minimum of 25m unaided and with confidence.
Equipment – All equipment is provided.
