What is  Table Tennis

Table tennis is considered a racket sport originating from tennis but is different by its playing surface being a table rather than a court.

Why Table Tennis

Table Tennis gives a full-body workout and helps improve your hand-eye coordination and reflexes.  Play is fast, requiring quick reaction and constant attention

Olympic Sport

Table Tennnis is an Olympic sport. By providing this opportunity, students may grow a love for the game and pursue further representation.

Fun Fact

Table tennis was invented as an after-dinner alternative to lawn tennis, using whatever they could find as equipment. A line of books would often be the net, the rounded top of a cork would be the ball and occasionally a metal box lid would be a racket.
